This leads us to constantly pursue an important objective: the so-called Wellness Zone. Every line, every reference, every speciality is therefore prepared according to the specific needs of dogs and cats at every stage of their lives.

OUR HISTORY

Nova Foods was founded in the 60’s as a food company.

In 1991 the TRAINER® brand introduced new formulations with a high content of fresh, deboned poultry, not frozen, into its dog and cat pet food lines.

We still create formulations for cats and dogs which are at the forefront of the market, and which contain high quantities of fresh meat mousse. The quality of the primary materials ensures a diet which is highly digestible and has impeccable flavour and genuineness.

CERTIFICATIONS AND QUALITY

The ISO 9001:2000 Certification of Quality obtained in April 2005 and two successive certifications (BRC Food and UNI EN ISO 22000:2005) obtained in December 2006 attest to the ability of NOVA FOODS Srl to assure its clients not only of the quality of the characteristics it claims for its products, but also to the maintenance of elevated levels of healthiness and hygiene throughout the production process.

The BRC food and UNI EN ISO 22000: 2005 standards, in fact, require the implementation of a rigorous system of self –checking of the hygiene conditions which has been developed according to the HACCP method and is applied, from the formulation to the sale of the products to distributors.

Obtaining these three certifications, in itself a very difficult achievement for a food company, is without doubts an extraordinary achievement in the pet food sector and the fact that it has obtained the BRC food certification, is the ultimate proof that NOVA FOODS  is the leading Italian company involved in the production of food for dogs and cats.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

Up to the present, an efficient research division constantly updates the products according to a philosophy of  “ functional nutrition “, in which natural ingredients, capable of contributing to the better functioning of the organism, are used.
